Description
The course aims to equip attendees with information and updates on the management of asthma, adherence management, OCS stewardship, management of acute exacerbations and highlight the benefits of multi-disciplinary care for patients with asthma. Learning objectives: To understand how the immunology of the asthma airways links to symptoms, presentations and management of asthma To gain an understanding of difficult-to-treat and severe asthma including comorbidly management, adherence optimisation and use of biologics To understand the risks of overusing some asthma treatments and how to reduce this risk To gain insight into setting up services and different models of care
